TERRESTRIAL PLANTS

Aquatic Plants

Aquatic plants can make or break a pond or water feature. Not only do they add color and attract wildlife but they are a great filtering source. The roots of the plants will consume nutrients that the traditional filters do not catch. The more the plants, the better off the water quality will be. An assortment of tall plants, floating plants and plants that creep out over the surface should all be used in just about every pond. Plants that are fast growing and produce blooms will consume more nutrients that plants that grow slow.
